CCDV-F exam day checklist

Everything to have ready for Claude Certified Developer, delivered by Pearson VUE online or at a test center. The ID, closed-book, and check-in rules come from Anthropic's Partner Academy FAQ; the pacing and stakes below are this exam's own numbers.

Total seat timeAbout 135 minutes including check-in
FormatMultiple choice and scenario-based multiple response
Passing score720 / 1000 (scaled)
Fee at stake$125 per attempt
If you fail14 days, then 30 days, then 90 days between attempts, up to 4 attempts per 12 months

CCDV-F tip: Applications & Integration is roughly a third of the exam, so expect the most questions on Messages API mechanics - statelessness, stop_reason handling, streaming events, and error handling. Read every answer option to the end: many distractors are correct-sounding code-level details that break under one specific condition.

Unmarked items come from Anthropic's Partner Academy certifications FAQ. Items marked † are Pearson VUE's generally published online-proctoring and test-center practice, which the FAQ does not spell out - confirm them in your own booking email. Last checked 2026-09-21.

Online proctoring (OnVUE) is not available in some countries and regions - the FAQ lists Belarus, Cuba, North Korea, Russia, Syria, and restricted parts of Ukraine, and says exam delivery to Iran was suspended as of 8 September 2026. If you are in or near one of these, check the FAQ before booking.
